Our projects

HYCAT is a development-project for a new hybrid transportation vehicle where Mattro coordinates 2 universities and six companies in four different countries. The project-costs of 1.3 million Euros are funded by the European Union and the involved countries in the Era-SME-program.  Goal of the 20-month-project is the prototype of an off-road Transporter with up-to-date hybrid technology that will set new standards in all-terrain transportation. The succesfull completion of this project presents itself with the finished prototype "Steinbock HX1".

As a companion of the enerChange GmbH Mattro develops a modular battery system which can be used as a buffer store for renewable energy systems, but also as a changing-system to increase the range of electric mobility concepts. For more information go to www.enerchange.net

Ecological power trains based on electric energy open new space for constitution in vehicle construction. We use this space in the snow-crawler project to think over new kinds of track-systems.

Based on the Polaris Ranger Mattro developed a changing-system for flexible tools instead of the normal load bed in the back which makes a multifunctional utility vehicle out of this small off-roader. With a pneumatically lowerable chassis the differently equipped platforms can be changed in just a few seconds.
